Jul. 17th, 2005 10:42 pmThis is a little ficlet that came to me while I was reading No More Snakes and Ladders Square 18, when Spike calls Xander's missing eye a war wound. It may pan out to be Spander eventually, it may fizzle out where it is, depends on how it's received. If it is well-received, I can just about guarantee there will be more, i've already got more ideas for this in my head, I just can't get them to become clear until I actually write stuff for the story and I won't do that until I get reviews. XP
Warnings/Notes: Human AU, Riley is not a scumbag with the Initiative. I don't know much about US military beyond ranks, I don't know whether or not they mix men and women in their squadrons and units, for the purpose of this story, they do. This story is unbetaed, I wrote directly into the LJ post window. You're getting it fresh from my head people. Deal. If you see any mistakes in spelling/grammar/punctuation, feel free to let me know.
Also, Bloodclaim peeps on my list, I'm PRETTY sure this will be Spander, Spike will probably end up Americanized, but still the Spike we know and love. Think I should post this for our fellow BCers?
